Archer Classical Training
Archer Classical Training is a classical ballet training program in the Tampa Bay area founded by sisters Virginia and Isabella Archer, created to provide serious, intentional classical training in a refined and supportive environment.
Our students are trained as both artists and athletes, with a strong focus on technique, discipline, strength and understanding of the art as a dancer and artist. We are committed to developing dancers who are not only technically strong, but knowledgeable, confident, and prepared for pre-professional programs and professional pathways.
At Archer Classical Training, every detail—from our classroom to our studio environment—is designed to offer a higher standard of training. Our dancers leave each class feeling challenged, accomplished and motivated.
Archer Classical Training is a place to train with purpose, grow with intention, and pursue excellence in classical ballet.

Raised in the Tampa Bay–Sarasota area, both began pre-professional training around age 10, performing in full-length ballets and competing at prestigious levels. We are deeply grateful to have trained under esteemed professional instructors and international summer program coaches who instilled precision, musicality, artistry, and lifelong love of classical ballet. With heartfelt gratitude, we thank each and every one of our teachers for shaping the refined classical foundation we now offer at Archer Classical Training in Oldsmar, FL.
Virginia’s performing career was marked by both technical excellence and artistic depth. Her repertoire includes principal and soloist roles such as Cinderella, Black Swan, Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, and Clara, as well as corps de ballet in Paquita and Bridesmaid in Don Quixote. She also performed in George Balanchine’s Donizetti Variations. Following summer training in Italy, Virginia was invited to attend the prestigious Ballet School of Teatro alla Scala in Milan—an opportunity her younger sister Isabella was soon to follow. Although the Covid-19 pandemic prevented their departure, Virginia transformed this moment into purpose, channeling her resilience into a deep commitment to teaching and mentorship.
Following closely in her sister’s footsteps, Isabella distinguished herself with both precision and versatility, performing roles such as Clara, Cupid, Chinese, Little Red Riding Hood, Dew Drop, Snow Queen, and one of the Four Little Swans. She also performed in Jerome Robbins’ Circus Polka.
Together, the sisters have earned consistent Top 12 placements at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in both classical and contemporary categories. Isabella was awarded 2nd Place in Pas de Deux (Tampa), while Virginia earned 2nd Place in Classical Variation at Dance Open America. Both have received numerous national and international scholarships for advanced training.
Inspired by the dedication, discipline, and potential they saw in their students, Virginia and Isabella founded Archer Classical Training to cultivate the next generation of classical artists. Their program is built on the belief that true excellence lies in both precision and artistry—where strong technique meets expressive storytelling, and every dancer is individually seen, guided, and nurtured.
