“ACT Core”

“ACT Core” Rotations are a signature part of the Archer Classical Training curriculum, designed to complement each dancer’s classical technique with a well-rounded, conservatory-style experience. These thoughtfully structured classes rotate on a 4-week cycle, allowing students to develop not only technical precision, but also artistry, strength, and a deeper understanding of their training.

Depending on age and level, students explore elements such as ballet history, conditioning and acro, nutrition and dancer wellness, contemporary movement, character, and pantomime. Each rotation is intentionally designed to support the whole dancer—building resilience, creativity, confidence, and performance skills.

ACT Core ensures that students are not only strong and technically capable, but also educated, expressive, and prepared for the long-term demands of classical ballet. It is one of the ways we go beyond traditional training to develop thoughtful, well-rounded artists who truly understand their craft.
